Remote vet tech and veterinary receptionist jobs

This page is short on purpose. VetTeamJobs lists jobs at clinics and hospitals, and our sources skip postings marked remote, so there is usually nothing in the list below. Remote work for techs exists, but it is a small market and it is mostly not clinic work.

What is real: telehealth and teletriage lines that hire credentialed techs for phone and chat triage, often overnight; pet insurance and pharmaceutical companies that hire techs for claims review, technical support and sales; veterinary software and lab companies for support roles; and a few hospital groups that run a remote call center for scheduling and client service. Those CSR roles are the most common remote opening and they go fast.

The pay runs from CSR rates to industry rates well above clinic pay, and most of these employers list it. The catch is that almost all want several years in a clinic first and, for triage, a credential. Search the employer sites directly: the big telehealth lines, the two largest pet insurers, the lab companies, and the software companies that run veterinary PIMS.
