About

A job board for the people who run the floor and the desk

Techs, assistants, CSRs, kennel staff and practice managers spend their job search digging through boards built for everyone else, where clinic jobs sit next to warehouse shifts and the "veterinary technician" results are half DVM postings. VetTeamJobs does one thing: clinic jobs for the vet team, with the facts a tech asks in the working interview shown on the card, and guides written the way a senior tech would explain it at the end of a shift.

Who runs it

VetTeamJobs is operated by Bynum Enterprises LLC, a small company in Greenville, Texas, run by Ryan Bynum. It is not owned by a hospital group, a staffing company or an association, and it does not take money from any of them for placement. Revenue comes from clinics paying to post. The site is built and maintained with the help of AI tools under human oversight, which the footer on every page says too. Mail goes to the address on the contact page; a person reads it.

Who it is for

Veterinary technicians (credentialed or not), veterinary assistants, receptionists and CSRs, practice and hospital managers, and kennel and animal care staff. We do not list DVM or associate veterinarian roles and we decline them when clinics try to post one. That rule is the whole product: when you search "technician" here you get technician jobs. Clinics hiring for these roles can post directly; the posting form asks for the schedule, who trains, the ratio and the raise cadence, because those are the questions you would ask anyway.

Where the listings come from, and how often

Two sources. Clinics post directly, free for independents through January 31, 2027, paid otherwise; those are marked. The rest are aggregated from the public careers pages of hospital groups, independent clinics and university teaching hospitals across the US. We check those sources and rebuild the board every day: closed jobs drop off, new ones appear, and every job page shows when we first saw the posting and when we last confirmed it was live. Right now the board holds 7,515 open roles from 201 employers in 50 states. Where the employer published a description, requirements, benefits or a pay range, we show them. Where they did not, the card says "not stated" rather than filling the space.

Apply on the clinic's site

Every Apply button goes to the employer's own application page or email. No account here, no resume upload, no middleman. We never see your application and we do not sell resumes to anyone. If a clinic wants to reach you, it is because you applied to the clinic.

Pay and reviews are never made up

Every "typical pay" figure on the site is the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics survey, May 2025 release: the state's own 10th percentile, median and 90th percentile for vet techs and assistants, and the national veterinary-services industry median for receptionists, managers and kennel staff, which BLS does not publish by state. Hourly figures are annual divided by 2,080, the BLS convention. Those numbers describe the market; they are not a promise of what any clinic will pay. Where a guide cites a community survey or a single Reddit post, it says so and links it. We do not write reviews of clinics, we do not paraphrase reviews into our own voice, and we do not invent quotes. If you see a quote on this site, it is from a linked public source, short, and attributed.

How the guides are written

The 31 guides are written by the VetTeamJobs editorial team with AI assistance, from sources we can link: BLS, state veterinary boards, the AAVSB, the AVMA, AAHA, NAVTA, VHMA, and the forums where techs, assistants and CSRs describe the job in their own words. Every guide carries a byline, a date, a "how we built this" paragraph beside its numbers, and a sources list. If a number is not in a source we can cite, we leave it out and say what we do not know. The state credential pages say on their face whether we verified the facts against the board or are still working from the AAVSB list. Credential and license-transfer pages are re-checked every six months; pay guides are re-run each spring when the new BLS release lands.

We are looking for a credentialed reviewer

Every guide says "Credentialed reviewer: pending." That is honest and it is temporary. We want a working or recently working CVT, LVT, RVT or VTS to read the career and credential guides, correct what a tech would catch, and put their name and credential in the byline. It is paid, it is part-time, and it is the kind of thing that fits around relief shifts. If that is you, email the address on the contact page with your credential and state.

Corrections and removals

If a listing is wrong, closed, or yours and you want it down, email bynumenterprisesbe@gmail.com with the job title or link. Removal requests are honored within 2 business days, and any employer can ask us to stop listing its jobs at any time; we do. The same address works for a correction to a guide or a pay figure: tell us the page and what is wrong, and if the source has changed we update the page and its review date.

What we do not do

  • No DVM listings.
  • No accounts, no resume database, no selling your information.
  • No fabricated reviews, testimonials, quotes or pay figures.
  • No "fur-ever," no "fast-paced environment," no "we're a family." If a posting says it, we show it as the clinic wrote it, but we will not write it ourselves.
  • No pretending to know something we do not. "Not stated. Ask in the working interview." is a complete sentence on this site.
