Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By visiting the Site, subscribing to job alerts, posting a job, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Who may use the Site

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. By using it, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you can enter into a binding agreement. If you use the Site on behalf of an employer or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. What the Site does

VetTeamJobs is a job board for veterinary support staff in the United States, including veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, client service and front desk staff, kennel and animal care staff, and practice managers. We do not list veterinarian (DVM) positions.

The Site contains two kinds of listings:

• Aggregated listings that we collect from employers' public career pages. Each one links to the employer's own page, where you apply directly with the employer.
• Employer-posted listings that employers submit to us, either as paid posts or through a free post program. These are marked on the Site.

We are not the employer for any listing, we are not an employment agency or recruiter, and we do not take part in any hiring decision. Any application, interview, offer, or employment relationship is solely between you and the employer.

4. Using the Site as a job seeker

Browsing jobs and subscribing to job alerts is free. When you subscribe to alerts, you agree to receive email from us about jobs matching your preferences. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any alert email. We do not collect applications or resumes on the Site. When you click "Apply," you leave the Site and deal with the employer directly.

5. No guarantee about listings

We work to keep listings current and accurate, but we cannot guarantee it. Listings may be out of date, contain errors, or be closed by the employer without notice. Aggregated listings are copied or summarized from the employer's public posting at the time we collected them, and the employer may change or remove the posting afterward. Pay, benefits, schedules, and job requirements are provided by employers, not verified by us. Always confirm details with the employer before relying on them. We do not guarantee that any job is open, that you will receive a response, or that you will be hired.

6. Third-party sites and services

The Site links to employer career pages, applicant tracking systems, and other third-party sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, security, or availability. Your use of a third-party site is governed by that site's own terms and policies. Payments for job posts are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms.

7. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Scrape, crawl, or copy the Site or its listings in bulk, or republish our listings data as your own. Ordinary search engine indexing is allowed.
• Interfere with the Site's operation, bypass its security, or place an unreasonable load on our systems.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job information, or impersonate another person or employer.
• Use the Site to send spam, harvest email addresses, or collect personal information about others.
• Upload malware or any harmful code.
• Submit someone else's email address to job alerts without their permission.

We may suspend or block access to the Site for anyone who violates these Terms, without notice.

8. Intellectual property

The Site, including its design, text, graphics, logos, code, and the selection and arrangement of listings, is owned by Bynum Enterprises LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission.

Job listing content belongs to the employer that published it. Employer names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the employer. If you believe content on the Site infringes your rights, email us at the address below with details and we will respond promptly.

9. Disclaimers

The Site and all listings and content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that listings are accurate, complete, or current. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bynum Enterprises LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost wages, lost opportunities, or lost data, arising from your use of the Site or any listing, even if we were advised of the possibility of those damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Site will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100). Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Bynum Enterprises LLC from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) that arise from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or any content you submit to us.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hunt County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Before filing any claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue. Any claim must be filed within one year after it arises.

13. General terms

These Terms, together with the Employer Posting Terms, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may change or discontinue the Site or any feature at any time.
