Veterinary Receptionist - Part Time

Looking for a part-time veterinary receptionist role where your client service skills make a difference? Bayshore Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and organized Veterinary Receptionist / Veterinary CSR to support our front desk team and deliver an exceptional experience for pets and their people.

Schedule: 2 days per week — Mondays and Fridays, with the opportunity to pick up a third day as scheduling needs arise.

What You'll Be Doing

• Previous veterinary reception, veterinary CSR, veterinary client service, or animal hospital experience strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and accurate data entry.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy veterinary environment.
• Comfort with computers and learning veterinary practice management software.
• Dependability, compassion, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.
• Comfort working around dogs, cats, and other companion animals.

What We're Looking For

• Previous veterinary reception, veterinary receptionist, veterinary client service, or veterinary hospital experience preferred but not required 
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable answering phones and assisting multiple clients in a busy environment
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn veterinary practice management software
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain professional in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working with dogs, cats, and other companion animals
• Compassionate, dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30–50 pounds when needed
