The Veterinary Technician Assistant plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our practice and contributes to maintaining a positive, safe, and team-oriented work environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to multitask while prioritizing safety, quality, and client satisfaction. They understand the importance of meeting client needs, providing instructions as directed, and treating clients and fellow team members with courtesy and respect. This role requires taking personal responsibility for producing high-quality work, using company resources responsibly, and seeking opportunities for continuous improvement. Essential Responsibilities

• Compassionate care for our patients and clients
• Assisting our Doctor and Technician staff as needed with patient restraint, completing treatments
• Maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment
• Client Communication/Education and Patient Assessments
• Maintaining thorough medical records
• Radiology
• Medication administration, filling prescriptions, and other pharmacy duties
• Patient Recovery/Post-operative monitoring
• Assist with in-house diagnostics
• Wrapping and sterilizing surgical equipment and instruments
• Restocking
• Maintain hospital and breakroom cleanliness

Requirements/Qualifications

• Ability to work 1-2 Saturday's a month, half day
• Ability to lift patients up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients over 25 pounds with assistance
• Practices OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE

Pay Range

USD $15.00 - USD $18.00 /Hr.
