Experienced Veterinary Receptionist

Are you an experienced Veterinary Receptionist, Veterinary CSR, or Veterinary Client Service Representative who excels at customer service and building relationships with pet owners? Animal Hospital of Lewisville is seeking a compassionate, organized, and dependable professional to join our team.

This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have at least two years of relevant veterinary hospital experience, with demonstrated client interaction and customer service skills. Reception experience is preferred, but candidates with other qualifying veterinary hospital experience and strong client-facing skills are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Welcome clients and patients with professionalism, empathy, and excellent customer service.
• Answer multi-line phones, respond to inquiries, and coordinate client communications.
• Schedule appointments, manage patient check-in and check-out, and support efficient hospital flow.
• Maintain accurate medical records, client information, and appointment details.
• Process payments, communicate estimates and invoices, and assist with billing questions.
• Coordinate with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and assistants to support patient care.
• Address client concerns professionally and help create a positive, welcoming experience.
• Support prescription refill requests, medical record requests, and daily administrative tasks.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of relevant veterinary hospital experience required.
• Strong customer service, client communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience interacting directly with veterinary clients and supporting their needs.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort discussing invoices, estimates, payments, and client concerns.
• Dependability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn hospital-specific systems and procedures.

Preferred: Veterinary reception or CSR experience, familiarity with veterinary terminology, and experience using veterinary practice management software.

Kennel, shelter, and breeding experience alone does not satisfy the minimum veterinary experience requirement.
