Client Liaison, Boston Veterinary Care (Temporary, Part-Time)

 

Are you mission driven and interested in working with animals? The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL), one of New England’s leading animal welfare organizations, is seeking a Client Liaison to join our team at Boston Veterinary Care. 

This is a temporary position that we anticipate will last 8 to 12 weeks. The schedule is part-time, with shifts on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Who we are:

Boston Veterinary Care (BVC) is a busy small animal veterinary practice located in Boston’s beautiful and historic South End. We see appointments and perform a wide variety of surgeries, with all profits from the hospital benefiting the shelter pets of the Animal Rescue League. We are a close-knit team practicing high-quality medicine every day.

What we offer: 

• Base hourly rate starting at $21/hour
• Monthly team meetings to encourage team communication and program improvement
• Structured in house CE, lunch and learns, and on-going training
• Effective communication and timely feedback/check ins with management along with goal setting

What you will do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients as they check-in and check-out for appointments and procedures.
• Respond to client inquiries in-person, over the phone, and via email.
• Be encouraged to share your thoughts to improve how we deliver our best care and service.
• Help us improve our services and continue to learn and grow as a team of caring animal welfare professionals who work hard to exceed the expectations of our clients, provide exceptional care to our animals, and build a supportive and fun working environment.

Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays: 8:30am to 5:00pm
